Join the FBL Faculty
For investors, operators, founders, lawyers and lenders

Lead a seminar, mentor a cohort founder, judge demo day, or review applications. Most of our founders arrive with no outside financing and no professional network in finance. An hour of your time is often the first honest conversation they’ve had about their options, whether that’s venture capital, debt, grants, or growing on revenue.

What we ask of faculty: teach how it actually works, including the unflattering parts. Don’t sell your fund, firm or services from the front of the room. Take the bootstrapped founder as seriously as the venture-backed one. Answer the follow-up email.

Sponsor a cohort, host an event, co-deliver programming, or reach a founder community you can’t reach any other way. Partners get visibility and recognition. They never get private or preferential access to founders. That boundary is why the association is worth something.

Volunteer with us
For builders who want to run something real

FBL is run entirely by volunteers. We’re recruiting for sponsorships, philanthropy, events, community, social media and design. You’ll own a real function at a growing organization, work alongside a senior network, and help founders who rarely get this kind of support.
